Chandri is the founder and Managing Director of Global Business Counselling Pte Ltd (Singapore) and CEO of GBC Sri Lanka. Chandri is the former Director General/CEO of the Insurance Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka. He has 25+ years of experience and expertise as a regulator, administrator, commercial lawyer, business consultant and Regional Head of Regulatory Affairs of an Anglo-American Fortune 500 MNC, based in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and Sri Lanka, covering Asia Pacific Region.
Chandri has experience in working with multicultural stakeholders in emerging markets, has assisted business leaders fulfill their compliance responsibilities, formulate strategies for sustainable growth and achieve their business goals. Chandri has guided organizations to reduce risk, protect reputation, and succeed in their mission in a responsible manner.

Stephen is the founder and Principal Consultant of TCF Consulting and joined the Board of Global Business Counselling Pte Ltd (Singapore) in 2018. Stephen has worked in the UK financial services sector for over 30 years, holding senior customer management positions in Aviva, Friends Life, and Friends Provident International; Stephen also has international experience having worked in both India and Malaysia.
Stephen is a qualified senior financial services customer professional with a deep understanding of the strategic, cultural, and practical application of the conduct risk TCF principles; skilled at risk management, compliance, audit, and the cultural implementation of TCF, and other international consumer protection regulations. Stephen has been associated with GBC since 2014 conducting TCF Awareness programmes in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
We have been actively involved on both sides of the negotiating table, as regulator and regulated. Our consultants include former senior government officials and advisors, as well as senior management of Fortune 500 MNCs operating in Europe, Middle-east and Asia Pacific regions. We have advised Government officials on matters dealing with private commercial entities, and we have also engaged directly with regulators and negotiated on behalf of companies, with regard to commercial matters.
